
Online Road Traffic Counter (iTCS)
The iTCS device is a part of the online road traffic counter system, which is designed to measure and send intercity road traffic statistics. The output of this system is used to provide real-time road traffic, detect blocked routes and provide alternative routes, inform drivers, estimate the need for road development, and other forecasts and statistical analysis, and as a result, it is one of the most basic needs. It has become road management and road transport organizations and road management centers.
This system includes a traffic counter device, a set of equipment under and on the side of the road (sensor loops and protective covers, kiosks and internal equipment), the central server and the main server of the organization, so that the current statistics measured by the device through communication platforms It will be sent wirelessly or wired to the central server, and after the initial statistical processing, it will be sent to the main servers of the transport organization through the Internet.
Each traffic counter has the ability to count, measure speed, and recognize the class of passing vehicles, record and send information. High reliability and the ability to work in a wide range of humidity and temperature, along with the technology required for accurate measurement and management of the wireless communication link, are among the complexities of this device. In addition, the device must have the ability to report, diagnose and fix bugs, in order to provide easy support without the need for the continuous presence of the support team.
