Davar Daeinejad holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Houston, where his research centered on computer science and software development for advanced cancer diagnostics using machine learning. With expertise in high-performance computing through C++ and CUDA, Davar developed optimized software solutions to support accurate and rapid diagnostic outcomes. In industry, Davar began as a Computer Vision Engineer at Volvo, where he advanced safety systems for construction equipment by developing deep learning models for pedestrian detection, tracking, and distance estimation using monocular vision. He also designed networked solutions to distribute computational loads across embedded devices like the NVIDIA Jetson TX1 and TX2. Shifting towards 3D vision, Davar joined leading companies including Octi, AlgoFace, and Microsoft as a Senior Computer Vision R&D Engineer. In these roles, he led algorithm development for real-time 3D reconstruction and tracking of body parts, leveraging multi-view and monocular camera setups with depth inference techniques. This work included camera calibration, pose estimation, and real-time 3D tracking, with a focus on C++ memory optimization and OpenGL-based visualization and rendering. Davar then joined Complete Genomics, where he further honed his deep learning expertise by training PyTorch models for DNA sequencing. This role emphasized 2D vision, image processing, and managing a mixed codebase in Python and C++ to advance genomic accuracy and speed. Currently, Davar is engaged in a stealth-mode robotics venture, specializing in SLAM, Structure from Motion (SfM), sensor fusion with camera and lidar, and pioneering applications of neural rendering, including NeRFs and Gaussian Splatting, for photorealistic 3D map reconstruction.

Hossein Daeinezhad combines a strong academic foundation, research expertise, and hands-on experience in project control, construction management, production planning, and emerging construction technologies. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Urmia University of Technology and completed core coursework at Sharif University of Technology, widely regarded as Iran’s premier technical institution. Hossein further advanced his expertise by earning a Master’s degree in Construction Management from Clemson University in the United States, with a research focus on advanced construction techniques, including prefabrication systems and 3D printing. In Iran, Hossein served in roles such as Production Planning Engineer at Elmosanat Navid Co., where he contributed to the successful implementation of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and Capacity Resource Planning (CRP) systems. He also applied his design expertise to urban development projects, including green motorcycle parking facilities for Tehran’s District 12 Municipality. Since relocating to the United States, he has primarily worked with ECS Limited in Houston as a Construction Materials Technician and Inspector. In this capacity, he performs a wide range of material testing and inspections for large-scale commercial construction projects, including soil compaction, concrete quality assurance, and rebar verification. His specialized responsibilities include evaluating post-tensioning cables and pier foundations, showcasing his technical proficiency and attention to detail. Hossein is deeply passionate about integrating innovative technologies into construction practices. He also holds certifications in thermographic imaging using drones, advanced drone mapping and modeling, landscape design, and OSHA construction safety. With a combination of academic knowledge, technical skills, and practical experience, he is committed to delivering forward-thinking solutions and ensuring the success of construction projects through efficiency, quality, and innovation.
